You Make Me Brave

“I can do ALL things through Him who gives me strength.”

Philippians 4:13 (NIV)

“We are not failures just because we fail at something.” We don’t fail until we decide to quit.

For the past few months now I’ve felt beaten down. I’ve learned that sometimes it’s ok not to be ok, but it becomes a problem when we stay there. Personally, I have let myself stay in that place. I’m not ok with that. I hope that I encourage you today with how much this verse has made an impact on my own life.

I have picked this verse to be what I call my life verse. Through all of the trials I have come up against in my life I always come back to this verse. If you were to ask me how I get back up, I can tell you my biggest inspiration is God. If there is anyone I can trust or lean on its Him. He never leaves us. When He feels distant we often forget that He is still there. All we need to do is reach out to Him. He is our strength!

Now I am about to get real here for a minute and don’t worry because I have been here plenty of times before. I find sometimes we put a limit on to the calling God has on our lives like filling our mind with thoughts of “I can’t” when God has already turned our cant’s into cans.

I want to challenge you today to not give up on the things you feel God has called you to do just because you don’t feel good enough. If it’s what God has for your life you will be more than capable to do it, you just have to trust God and believe you can.
