To change things up a bit at Defying Shadows, we decided to highlight a post from each of our personal blogs to bring you there and let you learn a little more about us. I have two teenagers, one who is old enough to date. I wrote this post months ago and held it close, knowing that God would prompt me when the time was right to share it. The piece has had a robust response and readers have let me know they shared it with their daughters, granddaughters, and youth groups. I’m always thankful when my words can help and encourage.
