It’s that time of year, the end of the old year where we reflect on all the things that have happened, we have achieved, celebrated, reflected on and the beginning of a whole new year.
I always find it an interesting question and topic of conversation within our society that when it comes close to the end of the year, we get asked that all important question, “What’s your New Year’s Resolution?”. Usually for some of us it can be the same thing where by we set out with good intentions to achieve things like lose weight, give up smoking, save money or join a gym. For some that New Year’s Resolution can last only a few weeks before the bad habits come back and that dream fades away, and for other individuals they take on their New Years Resolution on board and run with it.
I myself in previous years have set some New Year’s Resolutions and have had success with sticking to them, but now I like to set a few goals and mainly try going out there and seeing where life takes you. I find that sometimes the unplanned or unscripted experiences can be the most rewarding and can be the most memorable. I have had many of theses experiences over the past few years and I have been very glad of them when they have been presented to me in that moment in time.
At the end of the day, each and everyone of us is different individual and what may work for me may not work for you. The best way is to try and work out what works for you, and to always remember to have fun and enjoyment in achieving it!!
What are your New Year’s Resolutions for 2016?
