Ally’s Favorite Bible Verse!

my-favorite-bible-verse

I have to say this is one of my favorite Bible verses. I have many, and at times it is hard to pick, just one. I did for this blog post.

For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.   John 3:16(NIV)

My heart overflows with love when I think of this verse.  Think about it, God who can do a He chooses and all powerful, decided to send His son. All of this was pre-ordained before God even made this earth. He knew just what would happen. He loves us this much. He knew us as humans would mess up. Let’s face it, we do at times, and yet He still loves us.

That we would rebel against him. We would sin against a God that loves us and wants only the best for each and every one of us.  He made a way for us to come to him. He’d give up His only son to pay the price for our sins. That had to be such a hard thing to do.

This way we could be saved, if we believe and ask Jesus into our hearts. We can make right with God. We can come to the throne room boldly to God. How amazing is that?
