And Moses said to the people, “Do not be afraid. Stand still, and see the salvation of the Lord, which He will accomplish for you today. For the Egyptians whom you see today, you shall see again no more forever.

Exodus 14:13, NKJV

As a leader, I can sometimes face great opposition from those whom I am trying to lead or even those who have authority over my position.  It can feel like an uphill battle, at times.   The Lord has given me a clear direction on where I am to lead a ministry.  Yet, there is an opposing force who prevents me from driving that vision forward.  I can become fearful of standing up for myself and the ministry work, afraid that I will be fired.  I can become fearful that the people I am trying to lead won’t follow in that new direction because it is different from what they are accustomed to.

The verse in Exodus 14 reminds me that Moses settled the fears of those he was leading that the Lord brings deliverance to His people.  If I am truly working in accordance to the direction the Lord has given me for a ministry, there will be a day that the opposition is removed.  Change takes time and doesn’t come without some sort of pushback.  However, eventually the leaders above me will have eyes to see where the Lord is taking the ministry.  Eventually, those who stand in opposition to change will see the blessing in the new direction o our ministry work.

When the Lord brings deliverance to our ministry work, those hurdles and obstacles we overcome are gone.  We will never have to face them again.  It doesn’t mean that we won’t face future trials and struggles that come along growth and progress.  However, it will serve as a reminder that what God has done before… He will do again.  Always in His perfect timing.
