Do not be afraid, land of Judah; be glad and rejoice. Surely the LORD has done great things!

Joel 2:21

Reading all of Joel 2 for context and then honing in on verse 21 my heart rejoices because this is what I believe God is saying to me:

I Am God and I Am faithful. I will not leave you abandoned and I have not forgotten you. I know you. I know your comings and your goings. I know what you have need of. I know what the enemy has taken from you, but I know My plans for you are to restore all that you have lost. I have great plans to bless you and not just a little, but greatly. I Am the Redeemer. You have lost nothing, but gained faith and a front row seat to watch My hand of salvation work for you. I Am the One who set the sun and the moon in the heavens and shaped the foundations of the earth My spoken word made it so and whatever I speak come to pass.

I have spoken great things over My creation and that includes you. Great and marvelous things that no man can change. There is no reason to fear. I love you with an everlasting love. Nothing can change that. My love for you is perfect and perfect love casts out fear. So rejoice for I have gotten the victory. Shout, praise, and rejoice because I desire to bless you and see good come to you. If I care for the birds’ of the air welfare and how the fields are adorned with flowers, how much more do I care for the one who I made in My own image? Look around you and behold My creation. There’s nowhere you can go and I’m not there. Open your eyes and see. Let My presence and My perfect love cast out the fear in your heart. Fear not, but be glad and rejoice for victory and blessings are yours.
