There is a lot of stigma towards mental illness but I was involved in a situation where I felt it firsthand.
It doesn’t matter how many times I have to pass or say no when someone asks me if I want a drink – it’s always hard and it’s always awkward. Peer pressure isn’t just in high school folks.
I tried to remember what it felt like for my family to be whole. I wondered if I would ever feel that way again.
