No matter how high or overwhelming the obstacles seem, the Lord is mighty to provide victory over them. This reminds me of the verse (Romans 8:31) that speaks about if the Lord is for you, who can be against you? It also reminds me of the verse (2 Timothy 1:7)—“For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.” I can rest assured and take comfort in the fact that the Lord will take care of me no matter what, and if He promises me that, I know I can hold Him to it. When I think about it, I wonder why I worry so much—with the Lord fighting for me, why would I be scared of anyone? Wow, that is a pretty amazing truth when I really think on it…feeling phenomenally loved right now!
